Ingredients
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups bran cereal
- 2 cups bran flakes
- 1 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup sunflower kernels
- 1/2 flaked coconut
- 1/4 cup linseeds
- 1/2 cup flaked almonds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 cup honey
- 80g butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Combine all ingredients except honey and butter.
- Put honey and butter in a roasting pan and cook for 5 minutes in an oven until butter bubbles.
- Add oat mixture to the pan and cook for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until mixture browns.
NOTE: Apple and cinnamon: increase rolled oats to 5 cups, omit bran flakes and linseed. Replace sultanas with 1 cup chopped dried apple and increase cinnamon to 2 tsp.
