Ingredients
- 85ml milk
- 50ml water
- 10g sugar
- 10g yeast
- 1 egg
- 30g butter, melted and cooled
- 310g bread flour
- 1 tsp salt
Butter mix
- 80g butter
- 45g sesame seeds
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbs chopped fresh coriander or parsley
- 2 red chillies, chopped and seeded
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 170C.
- Put milk, water, yeast and sugar in a bowl and stir to dissolve yeast. Add egg, butter, flour, salt and mix to form a dough, about 10 mins. Set aside to double in size.
- Melt butter and mix with the remaining ingredients for the ‘Butter Mix’. Place 1/3 of the ‘Butter Mix’ in the bottom of a tin. Form walnut sized balls and place in tin, side by side. Pour remaining ‘Butter Mix’ over the top and set aside to rise for a further 40 minutes. Bake in oven for approximately 30 minutes.
