This aioli very versatile is delicious served with grilled vegetables, salad or as a dip.
Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup basil leaves
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp lemon juice
Directions
- Whizz together the garlic, basil and egg yolk until smooth. With the blender going, gradually add oil in a thin stream until mixture thickens. Stir in lemon juice and season to taste.
